There is a place for private police, and that is malls, stores, business, banks and so on. But not all privet police go through a police academy and not all are POST certified. Most Cops are restricted from have a second job like security and Private Police because security jobs and Private Police jobs are bias for the people or company they are work for and there client. Police/Sheriff can not be bias; they serve everybody in the community, even if one is or was a criminal at one point or another. It is a conflict of interest for Police/Sheriff. Police/Sheriff is required to be Just. Also Private Police are not on a public recorded like Law Enforcement, LE can only make something restricted if it is court ordered or if it is required by law.
