Does Ted Berg look like Fred Savage or is it me. I want he to lose the rolled up sleeves and put on a Jets jacket Kevin Arnold style

MetsBlog.com : Note: Mets to Erase Doc's Signature

They should have left it on the wall. Doc was a huge part of the 80's and early 90's, even though Doc and Straw started acting like they were more Yankee then Met in the first few years after they hung up the cleats. The Mets should show them love.

MetsBlog.com : Opinion: Day 1 in Citi Field

Last night was strange, it was like the Padres had the home field advantage. I would think this place kinda plays like Petco in SD. In the next few years we may need to rethink the kind of players we sign, we may need to have 3 guys good enough to play centerfield. Most of the time guys like that hit poorly. Then Infielders with power will become more important but pitchers are gonna love this place. Guys are gonna bend over backwards to pitch here

MetsBlog.com : Post-Game: Marlins 2 Mets 1

It's really hard to get mad at Murphy. You know the guy works really hard, he's just not an outfielder. Its taking a long time for me to get over this loss, wasting great pitching performances in a no-no for good teams but San Diego is coming in and that make me feel good, lets get 3.

MetsBlog.com : News: The Marlon Anderson Era is Over

Anyone remember the inside the park home-run he hit vs. Anaheim a few years back. That's what I'll remember about him. Pretty sure Floyd hit a HR in the 11th to win it.I think it was 2006, what a game that was! Good luck Marlon.

MetsBlog.com : Note: Luis Castillo's Slow Start

I am one who likes to dream! Murph playing 2nd would be great. I always thought he was slow but he really surprised me last night by taking second on Hanley's miscue. As for the team yes they lost but they will not give-up, unlike last year when they gave up the lead there was little to no chance they could come back.

i liked Parnell, I guess Redding could be the long Inning or Junk Inning guy but I'd like to at least see Parnell a little more.

i hope Myers loes more weight he looks great! The pitching not so much. I hope the new ballpark plays nothing like CBP. I guess it will take till the weather get hot. I remember St. Louis thought they had a pitchers park.

MetsBlog.com : Quote: Manuel on Perez's Poor Outing

Look I think Livan is going to be better than anything we have had at #5 in a long time. Granted he is gonna have some bad starts but you know the guy will give you innings and that is going to save the bullpen which looks like the strength of this team. Im happy we did not jump at Pedro after the WBC, Even if he has a great game you know he is out by Inning 6. Hernandez is also not an automatic out at the plate. Ollie now thats another story -ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MetsBlog.com : Quotes: Mets OF Gary Sheffield from Citi Field

Hate Sheff but as I watched fridays game I can not see Murphy being able to play the outfield. Is there any way if Sheff plays well Murphy could get moved to 2nd?
