And I'm a big fan of film, so I do like to see what has been nominated, who won and find the show itself entertaining for the most part. My biggest concern is less about the politics and more so about the poor criteria they choose to judge a film on. For example... No superhero, Sci-Fi, Horror or Comedy film is ever nominated or properly recognized. It seems like, unless you've directed an artsy, low budget, indie project, the actors performances don't mean anything and you more than likely will not get nominated.
