No but he is scheduled to come down here in a couple of days.Most of us wish he would just leave us alone though. We can take care of ourselves. I live in north Birmingham and so far we have 58 dead in this area and what looks like maybe billions in damage. They are having to turn people away who are showing up to help due to the fact there are just to many people wanting to help.

I really like my pets. But i can not understand this obsession so many people have with their pets. What happened to *human* companionship? Too many people forcing human environs onto their pets and expecting them to act in a way that is not in their nature , and im cruel for not allowing my dog in the house and letting him roam the woods.....yea right and the people that stick their 50 pound pup in the house and dress them in clothing and the only freedom they get is the occasional walk. yea..........

I did meet her. It was around 1993-1994 in Montgomery Alabama where she and Sally Field were shooting a movie. She was not as completely mental as she seems to be today. PC has been the lid on the boiling kettle for too long. As you can tell by watching the progs reaction to the majority of this countries reactions to this story and others like it, they aren't liking what they see. The hand on the PC lid is starting to get burned and they do not know what to do about it. All this pressure has got to be released either by turning down the heat or removing the lid. I do not see either happening so.....what does physics dictate happens next i wonder?

Speaking of getting involved. Two days ago i had the apartment electrician and a guy from the power company outside my apt working on the meter and main breaker and while talking we got into politics. Within thirty minuets there were 8 people all talking about politics and all on the same page. I had never met any of them before other than to say hello to them or good morning. It was 3 caucs 3 African Americans and 2 Latinos. It was a microcosm of main stream America and all it took was just a little chit chat.

Hey now! i like bear jerky! Also i just subscribed to our local paper *yes its just like most all others and a liberal as it can be without actually yelling it from an embeded audio devise in the paper* but as i told the kid going door to door trying to sell it. I will take the minimum subscription so you can get your commission but i will not even take it out of the plastic. He just laughed and thanked me for helping him out. I now have a nice stack of plastic covered kindeling for when the cold weather gets here !

Here in the south the Democrats are called Dixiecrats and for a good reason. They are still like the OLD democrats of the past. They are not Progs and you are correct most of them have not changed parties but are voting Republican this time. Many have said that the party is no longer the democrat party but the socialist party but they still do not want to join the republican party and are doing what they feel is right and will play it by ear from here on out.

This is a copy/paste of a post that i submitted on another posts thread on this story. Sorry im lazy :p Depends on how you look at it. Twenty four months from now we are going to be taking a beating because as we all know , fixing things on a notable level will take time. Most likely more than twenty four months. Now we conservatives know this and can deal with it but the middle of the road independents are a different story. Plus we have to fight the Dems and the Repub machine all the while trying to fix the mess. It is going to be pure hell. So if you look at it in a longer term, then she may have a point but i don’t think so. This is more than a national move against policy. It is a national move against liberalism/progressives and in as such makes it a war of ideology. Do we as a country want to toss out our republic and become a socialist society? Or do we want to renew our selves and our country? That is the true gist of it all. So yea…..she probably does not want to be in our shoes because we are going to have to work our collective asses off and take alot of beatings and pain. So….what do ya say? Shall we get started?

Juan may be a liberal but he has class and intellectual honesty. I do not agree with 90% of what he says BUT he says it from the heart not from a talking point and i have never heard him tear down some one for not agreeing with him. He actually listens most of the time also. I have a lot of respect for all of the Juan's out there....may not agree with them, but i respect them. I would rather be cell mates with a Juan than have to even pass one of this guys kind of liberal on a street on opposing side walks.
