I love luna partially because she is the most militaristic and realistic of the all the ponies (IMO of course). She has flaws that arent scripted episode to episode, and has a major effect on both the history of equestria and the mane six. and honestly she has the most interesting back story. I just wish they would have some flashback episodes about ancient equestria and how the war got started.

I would like to say how about gilda, have her join the group as someone who wants repentance, and have her the element of forgiveness.

its great to see that other people havent forgotten how awesome NiGHTS into Dreams was. I am glad to see someone mix it with Luna, the best pony. I am surprised no one has done an inception artwork with Luna.

This definitely should have been the song in the episode rather than the one they put it. Sounds so much better.

Fobhopper here, I definitely plan on going to everfree next year. With more (and better) staff, a little bit of experience, and a better venue should make next year's Con much a better experience. For the few that didnt return after friday's fiasco, you missed out on a lot. Yes there were some legitimate gripes and complaints, yes they were overwhelmed and undermanned, but the convention as a whole was a great experience and me and my wife had lots of fun. I am not going to beat a dead horse, but they could have done a couple simple things to smooth things out like as any marine knows, always test your gear before you go out into the field (hence why they had so many issues on the first day), they either had little or no comms (especially considering they had 2 locations that events were taking place, it was braindead stupid to not have radio's), and they didnt have enough people (or even enough competent people for that matter at times), all they can do now is to only get better.
:edit:
for those that want a more day by day breakdown of how everything went at everfree, you can find it here http://www.mlponies.com/2012/08/24/the-second-act... as an old axiom goes, the more intel you get, the better decisions you can make.

Will do. As for the last day, Not as many people were there, and things were kind of lazy but still very enjoyable.

So far I have been there 2 of the 3 days with my wife (still got 1 day left of it to enjoy) and here is what I can say about it.

First day was a HUGE flustercluck, it was just one problem after another, after yet another. I wont get too much into the details, but pretty much all the events were pushed back by an hour or two, and things were very disorganized. Me and my wife ended up leaving around 1330 because the lines were so bad and it was pretty warm out for the NW (it was a high of 94 that day with decent humidity) and everyone was miserable and a little disgruntled. Even though I didnt go to it, from the others I spoke to today, Ponystock was pretty bad too, people waiting for about 30 mins to get into it.

The second day though was MUCH better and more organized and things went over much smoother. The weather was also much better (a cool 74, 20 degrees than yesterday). A lot of good things went on today, and during the VA panel, a 12 year old kid asked all the voice actors that were there a great question (I cant recall what it was off the top of my head) but he completely stole the show. after the VA panel, it was time to wait in line for hours to get all 14 signatures of all the Voice actors and the song writer for the show (well that was my wife's quest, I only wanted tabitha's autograph) and nicole oliver (voice of Celestia and showed up only for today) to give signatures. After about 6 hours or so of waiting in lines for signatures, buying pony stuff (I got a poster of gamer luna, and had tabitha st. germaine to sign it, and taken a picture of me and my wife with her, and my wife got her picture taken with peter new) we just went home (we live only a short drive from the convention site.

Anyways thats how things have gone from my perspective. Its not bad for a first year con, and hopefully things will get much better next year (this year they got completely flooded with people and werent prepared). now that all the major things got accomplished today, me and the wifey plan on spending tomorrow actually trying to enjoy the convention. The convention is actually split up between the 2 locations (the marriot and holiday inn) and one is about 2 blocks down hill from the other, and they just have so much stuff going on to be able to cover it all at both locations. this is just from my perspective so take it for what you will, because I havent been trying to go to every single thing thats happening, and because of so many people at the event, lines get extremely long and I just dont care to wait in lines forever.

But I did take a few pictures of some good cosplays;several celestia's and luna's, and 1 amazing cadence cosplay, got a picture of a great Flim&Flam cosplay and a couple as wonderbolts. I didnt get a chance to take a good picture of the roidrage cosplay, or the giant princess celestia costume, and a couple other flim & flams that were there, but it was still cool.

I will post about the last day tomorrow when I finally get the chance to enjoy everfree.

Fobhopper out.
