The issue wan't that they breast feed. It's that they did it in uniform with the intent to draw attention to an issue...not smart. I was breast fed when I was a child, as were my kids, and I served in the military. At no time did my wife indicate she was unable to breast feed the kids. Funny though, she never felt compelled to have someone photograph her at the time either. After all, she considered it an intimate moment between mother and child, not a political statement. I wonder if these women realize they cheapen that moment with their actions.
