It's possibly a yellow crested cockatoo, which looks very similar to the sulphur crested, but is from Indonesia

I'm one of six siblings and I feel so grateful to have always had them in my life (even though we are now spread across the globe). They are the best. Also, as a librarian who frequently deals with photographic donations with messy messy copyright issues, this resonated with me on a professional level as well!

I moved from Melbourne to Sydney 6 months ago and though I miss my Melbourne friends HEAPS I've started to feel settled here and have made some friends! It's kinda tiring putting yourself out there and saying yes to all the social things but it pays off. I think it also helps to focus on the cool things the new place has that the old place doesn't. In my case (and possibly yours too) this is beautiful beaches!
