The Church prides itself on following the 'via media' or moderate way in everything. Everyone else would describe it as sitting on the fence because you are too cowardly to come down on one side or the other. Wishy-washy wet Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury is in large part to blame for the decline in the Church as he sits on the fence wimpering.. Meanwhile Islam has its feet firmly on the ground and knows where it's going: 1700 mosques, Halal meat, muezzins and 85 Sharia Courts. The Church should reassert the importance of Christianity as it has been enshrined in our culture for over a ,milennia. I want churches, bibles Christmas and Easter not mosques, muezzins and Halal meat thank you very much.

Michael Nazir-Ali, Bishop of Rochester was nearly Archbishop of Canterbury but lost out to Rowan Williams. He said Islamic extremism had turned "already separate communities into 'no-go' areas" and claimed that there had been attempts to "impose an 'Islamic' character on certain areas", citing the amplification of the call to prayer from mosques as an example. He criticised the government's integration policy as "an agenda which still lacks the underpinning of a moral and spiritual vision", and asked that the government make a public affirmation of the "Christian roots of British society". He criticised the "dual psychology" of some Muslims who seek both "victimhood and domination". He said it would never be possible to satisfy all of the demands made by Muslims because "their complaint often boils down to the position that it is always right to intervene when Muslims are victims... and always wrong when Muslims are the oppressors or terrorists. He argued constantly with Rowan Williams and has now resigned. What a loss!

I sense that the public mood is beginning to change: the Right wing shift in the European elections; Sarkozy's call to ban the burkah; Geert Wilders' party now the second most voted for party in Holland; the BNP two MEP's and big gains in council elections and now Italy passes this new law. MigrationWatch UK says a migrant now enters the UK EVERY MINUTE - ie that is 525,600 a year. And that is the ones we know about. Are the government concerned? No, they are too busy discussing Harriet Harman's muddled proposals for a new Equality bill. She seems surprised that PART-TIME female employees earn 40% less than FULL-TIME male colleagues. They probably also have 40% less responsibility. Of course they do. What a ludicrous basis of comparison.

Our children have been denied a sense of pride in their British heritage. We are a country that has resisted invasion for 900+ years; we have had a monarchy in this country for nearly 1000 years; when people marvel at the Angkor Wat in Cambodia they should be reminded that at the same time as that was being built, WE were building Salisbury Cathedral - and that was some 400 years prior to the Pilgrim Fathers setting sail for America. Our society and legal system which has developed against a Christian backdrop fover a millenia is widely considered to be one of the most egalitarian and tolerant in the world. The fundamental principle of freedom of speech has promoted debate so that advancements can be made to the benefit of mankind. Islamic societies suppress debate and Islam brooks no questioning which is why Islamic societies have failed to prosper. We have made major contributions to all areas: Shakespeare, Constable, Fleming and Newton. We have many historic buildings and the foundations of Stonehenge were being laid some 5000 years ago. We are impressive. The sad thing is that in today's schools it is not considered polite to mention these things in case in upsets our guests.

The person who deserved to be Archbishop was the Bishop of Rochester, Nazir-Ali. Yes. I think people who support the BNP should write well-argued comments on the popular media blogs. These blogs have a large readership and your voice is therefore being heard. You can post links to other sites like Migrationwatch UK etc to help your argument. Or refer them to a relevant news stories on Youtube. Given the traffic statistics for the BNP website, I think it is fast becoming like some sort of underground resistance movement publishing the stories the PC brigade didn't want you to hear. For example, I think the BBC News website ignored the Civitas report re Sharia Law Courts completely unless I missed it.

Actually, Gordon Brown can SAY councils should put British people first on the housing list. But how can they when they have to comply with their Black and Ethnic Minority Housing Strategy which is enshrined in their rules? And, even if they abandoned this, Gordon Brown was only saying the British people should put put ahead of 'newly arrived' immigrants. British people will STILL be bottom of the queue compared with those immigrants who are NOT newly arrived My own council Waverley Borough Council states openly in its housing strategy: "The Equality and Diversity Service Action Team works closely with the Corporate Equality and Diversity group to ensure access and quality of service is equal for all. I agree. I am using the blogs of newspapers to spread the word. When people post outrage at stories like this, they need to be told outrage will change nothing. Their vote at the next election could change EVERYTHING.

So the government is currently considering banning BNP members from the teaching profession and has already banned them from the Police. Meanwhile, Muslims commit polygamy; oppress women and plot to kill us but they are actively encouraged into the teaching profession as per the TDA website: "The TDA and ITT providers are working to increase the numbers of (teacher) trainees with a minority ethnic background recruited each year and to improve the retention on programmes." My forecast is that the Labour party will go out in spectacular style at the next election recording the lowest ever vote from an exiting party. Surely, this must be the most unpopular government in British history.
