God forbid someone blame the parents. Must be the school's/teacher's fault! I've only been a parent for 8 years now so I might not necessarily be an authority on parenting but if my child was doing poorly in school than I would take care of it! If we had more committed parents (mom and dad, which I know is now old fashioned) then we wouldn't have such a problem and feel the need to keep dumping money into the public school system. Anyone else feel like this will only enable the "dumbing down" of America?

I chose to join the military so I have no idea how much health insurance costs. I do know that it is not my fault that people don't have health care. How many of those 40,000,000 dropped out of high school? Got pregnant and live on welfare? Would rather have dubs on their car than health care? It's not a "health care" problem is my point. Forcing it down our throats will not fix anything!
