West Ham Till I Die : Nani's Exit - Pro or Contra?

We all knew once D&D took over it was only a matter of time before Duxbury & Nani left the club. This has now happened & as David Sullivan has said with the transfer window now closed having brought in 3 strikers on deadline day, the main changes to the squad will happen in the summer. I am now able to concentrate on the financial side of reducing costs at the club. Further casualites on the medical side will also be forthcoming over the coming weeks & months. As for Nani as tech director, although he brought in a variety of players, who in time will be beneficial to us, he was unable to sign the bigger names (particularly strikers) for us to provide a balanced team. If this had been possible last summer, we would be vying for a place in europe now & not still trying to play us out of a relegation battle. DS contacts through agants & the clubs scouting format will be the stepping stone to our future transfer policy.

West Ham Till I Die : Jowell Blow to West Ham Olympic Stadium Bid

The issue over the Olympic stadium will go the same way as the Millenium dome & become a white elephant for may years after 2012. Like Crystal palace will fall into disrepair & will definately not become the athletics legacy everyone is pinning their hopes on. We will continue at Upton park for many years & hopefully will find another site that will ensure WH future close to our spritual home.

West Ham Till I Die : No Sweat!

Bring on Hull, Saturday, If we play as well as we did last night, & there is no reason why we shouldn't, its another 3points in the bag taking us up one place, assuming Sunderland lose that is!

Tom, I believe that Freddie Sears although going out on loan to Coventry for rest of season will be a casualty come summer. The midfield does need some improvement and with Boa Morte on his last year of contract may be sacrificed for someone younger. dyer will also be gone and another replacement may be needed unless other academy players are able to step up. The defence is the major overhaul needed with both Upson & Green moving on. Who is likely to come in Joe Hart would be a good replacement, however i think we will look elsewhere.

West Ham Till I Die : Vote: West Ham v Birmingham Player Performances

3points well & truly won tonight. Perhaps DS interview was mistimed, however I feel it was done to shake up the guys & GZ got it right. Upto 14th & with Wolves home Saturday. They in turn did well to overturn Spurs tonight. We have MU Chelsea & Arsenal away to come, but on tonights performance we will give them a run for their money. A great win for The Toffees as well.

Tim , I agree Brum are ready for a fall and we can make that happen. AS GZ says all he is concerned about is to focus on the game & also get the players in the same frame of mind. __I just hope that everyone has the same idea & we pull off that unlikely win>Lol!

posted froim previous thread: Well this morning looks a little brighter on the managerial front. David Sullivan has come out in an open interview and publicly backed GZ saying that he is entitled to his opinion. With tonights game against Brum DS said this is not a grudge match , however if Brum win I will be proved right & if WH win Gz will be proved right. Let us all hope that we are able to break Brum current winning spell and come away with 3points.

I hope that this current statement by David Sullivan does not cause a rift between himself & Gianfranco. It now requires a period of media silence over what is planned at WH. OK the damage has been done & GZ is upset over this which could have been dealt with behind closed doors & before tomorrows match against Brum. After tonights results we could move up to 14th IF WE WIN!. Todays media statements could spur us on in defiance of DS & show that we are able to stay in this league. I just hope that GZ gets it right & our boys do us proud tomorrow. Back them all the way guys. 3-1 to the Hammers.Lol!

West Ham Till I Die : Are Gold & Sullivan Pinning Their Hopes on the Academy

Kenny, As I remember it they tried to take control before. However Terence Brown could not come to an agreement and finally bought them out. The rest is WH History. As DS has said it make no economic sense to buy West Ham and only those involved in WH & have the club at heart would ultimately invest.

OK, We all realise just how bad financially things are. We have to turn it around. WHY did Double D invest in the club if the situation was & is as bad as they say. Because at the end of the day THEY are WEST HAM FANS! It will get worse before it gets better & over the next 3yrs all finanancial outlets will be plugged & the purse strings tightened. If your company is facing a financial crisis , one looks to where savings can be met. If that means a paycut to keep the company going for a period then you accept it,or move on elsewhere & good luck! Football is now going through the global meltdown & this is just the tip of the iceberg! Whatever you say about D&D they ultimately have the club at heart, otherwise they would not have bought it. Our major concern is to stay in the PL this sesason & build on it over the coming seasons. Untill then just ignore the tabloids & media reports as we have done over the past 2yrs & keep a positive point of view, however difficult that may seem now! We would not have it any other way. WE ARE AFTER ALL WEST HAM UTD!!!

OK, so maybe we should have got a point against Burnley, however it is only a week since we signed 3 new strikers & only two days to train with one of them , who actually scored when brought on. Ilan is certainly going to show where we have been lacking. We now have 2home games to get 6points on the board, before MU away. Everyone should stop knocking GZ & get behind him & the team as 12th man.

West Ham Till I Die : Sullivan on Hardtalk

Hopefully Daniel Levy may be aware of this. As Dave Whelan of Wigan has said, he proposes to bring this up at the next PL meeting. Whether or not it materialises into anything, only time will tell. However if the reports over Liverpool's financial dilemma & H&G are unable to renegotiate their loans as the banks are suggesting then over the next 2seasons will see a serious change in the running of all PL clubs.
