I love you man (in a totally non-gay way)!! You and all these ppl on here think exactly like me. The cool thing is I'm 25 and I can learn a lot from ppl like you. I need wisdom to be effective. I've tried getting through to ppl but lack age and facts I guess. So keep it up cause many Americans need ppl like you.......

If it was mandatory it would be like the ROK Army (Republic of South Korea) in which I served along side in 2004-05. There's a mandatory 2 yr enlistment for Koreans. The rich kids or kids that have family of friends higher up in society or know someone with power get to serve with the US Army. That's corruption. Plus, a lot of these soldiers just do the minimum standard or even less than that. I want soldiers who are dedicated and want to be the best. Some of them would act like they coudn't speak english when they did something wrong or when an NCO yelled at them, but in actuallity they know how to speak english better than me. I speak with a lot of slang (country mixed with a little city type talk). There's a lot of problems when it comes to anything mandatory. We are the greatest Army in the world because we are the largest vollenteer Army in the world. Make sense??
Whoever this is, is a great American and I salute you. I served my country as well. I agree with everything except mandatory military service. That would take more freedoms away. If ppl want to be bad or lazy, let them, just don't reward them with welfare and healthcare. Every American doesn't deserve healthcare in my view. This is America. If you work hard you get rewarded. If not, well you pay the consequences. On the military thing, I served with a few low lifes who clearly didn't want to be there. Major distraction with a mission at hand. They ship them through in the Army to make their quota. Then when the low life makes it to his/her duty station they cause issues for a long time before finally chaptering them out. In the Army dirt bags brought down morale and everyone else pays for it. Only a dedicated American who wants nothing more than to do something great for our country should join the military.

Alert! Hello fellow 9/12er's. Keith Olberman and the liberal lady that comes on after him on MSNBC, are trashing the efforts of our noble soldiers serving and that have served in Iraq. They awere literally '''laughing''' at the progress of our troops. Mr. Beck!! Please do something!! I strongly erge FOX to do an entire week of one hour segments on the war in Iraq. America needs to know about the evilness of Sadaam and why we took him out of power. Ask a soldier how he/she feels about what they are doing. I want to hear from enlisted soldiers, NCO's, and CO's. I want America to hear from my hero, my brother, Sgt. Jeffery Beaton. He was a soldier with a wife and 2 kids who served with honor in Iraq. Ask him what he seen in Iraq. I don't want to hear from a liberal, who has never even stepped foot in a military uniform, to be telling America what has and is going on in Iraq. I want the truth from real soldiers and commanders on the ground, not from a shmuck like Olberman and whoever that other lady is. Thankyou for what you are doing Mr. Beck. You are a great American.
To literally fear nothing is the most uneducated thing I've ever heard. If you trust the gov't, you're not the brightest star in the sky. Use your right to bear arms and NEVER give them up. The gov't seems to think that there aren't honest ppl, or competant ppl that can protect themselves. I don't need the gov't to protect me. Don't need cops. I need the persons to my left and to my right (friends, family, and fellow neighboring Americans) in order to protect myself. 'We the ppl' is right on. I've served my country (Army) and now I'm serving my country as a civilian. If someone threatens my liberty, my freedom, its fair game. Stop being the weak little sheeples and stand up for what you believe in. Don't settle for second best. Partisan shmartisan blah blah. Do whats right. Do what it takes to protect freedom. Never except defeat. Lets be America again....
