You can twist it around however you wish to suit your agenda but the fact remains. I don't believe banning them its the answer either but don't say they aren't more dangerous than other breeds because thats not factual. The stats don't lie.

Thats no even close to being accurate.....here are a couple stats for you to chew on. I have owned 2 rottweiler in the past as well and she was skittish around others.
These stats were taken from dogsbite.org
Dog attack deaths and maimings, U.S. & Canada,
September 1982 to June 25, 2010

By compiling U.S. and Canadian press accounts between 1982 and 2010, Merritt Clifton, editor of Animal People, shows the breeds most responsible for serious injury and death.

The combination of pit bulls, rottweilers, presa canarios, and their mixes:
80% of attacks that induce bodily harm
70% of attacks to children
83% of attack to adults
69% of attacks that result in fatalities
75% that result in maiming

This is seriously a concern of yours? How about some self control and anger management........

Plaxico Burress is not a law abiding citizen and he was not carrying in a holster. He was handling the gun and shot himself. Again, your point holds no merritt. KIDS do make dumb choices.....guess we are lucky that KIDS can't carry weapons huh? History is not on your side. Iowa has had weapons permits for almost a century without any issues and its no different now. You have not had one valid point during all of your anti-gun ranting.

Guns don't accidently go off either. You don't pull the trigger and it doesn't go off. Furthermore, if its kept in its holster, it won't go off. Your point is invalid. Please tell me the last time a permit holders weapon has "accidently" went off and shot someone.

Never, however I also have never needed my seatbelt but I wear it. I have never needed my smoke detectors or fire extinguishers in my home but I have them. Do you? If so why?

They didn't make it easier. They made it an even playing field for law abiding citizens. Law abiding citizens don't cause problems and those that are not law abiding citizens, don't care. Bravo to the Linn County Supervisors for using their heads on this one.

Who said he wanderd off? It would take him a split second to fall in and take water into his lungs. Even if he was standing on the bank with his dad. Like I said before, its obvious that you know nothing about kids. Bravo to his father for knowing CPR.

Legally, they can't override the state code. This ordinance carries no weight and is illegal. Someone is going to retire courtesy of Iowa City.
