Battle: LA was serviceable and enjoyable enough. I wasn't expecting anything more than what it was supposed to give me — a major American city getting fucked up by aliens — so I didn't feel like I wasted my dinero or time.

But yeah, that shaky cam has got to go. This movie might've sang better under a different director. Also, too much unnecessary attempted human pathos and drama that came across as unintentional funny in its strive for realism and depth, not enough alien fuckery. That is the point of all invasion flicks. The aliens should be aliens, not semi-humanoid cyborgs that are somewhat easy to suss out. This was lacking the fun with the aliens that last year's Skyline had, while being better technically. A mix of the two flicks would've been truly dope to watch.

Just be yourself and put yourself out there whenever you feel the need to be social. That's really all you have to do. No magic words or books or tips or tricks. Without getting too hippy, your vibe will take care of your style, your head will sort out the wheat from the chaff and you just being a gal in general will bring the boys to your yard. Remember to have the fun you want for yourself first and know when to fold your cards when you've reached your limit instead of letting things get crazy. Bad crazy, not good crazy!

Sorry if this is too metaphor-saturated!

You've got to give him this, though...for someone named "Topher," he's doing fairly decent as a principal late-20-early-30-something generation typecasting actor.

If he keeps on the way he's going, people will be stepping into his padded windowless cube rather than an octagon.

Mother's deciphered part of it. It doesn't look like code...it looks like...a warning.

In about 500 years or so, Earth is going to be known as Coruscant when industrialization fully encroaches the planet's surface, so this map is nothing but a piffle of hipster nostalgia.

For those in NYC: Sullongtang at Gam Mee Ok or Han Bat in Little Korea in Midtown. They're 24 hours, inexpensive and better than nodding off on the subway and waking up stanky on either end of the line in Queens.

If I make it home okay after getting crazy, I'll make anything easy and warm before bed, preferably with egg and meat involved. A sammich if I got some bread or I throw in two cups of rice in the rice cooker and lay some egg and stuff over that and make a donburi bowl. Or simple pasta with marinara sauce. Orange juice. Just need some wholesome unprocessed goodness into mah belly and then I can feel its powers slowly revitalizing me. But I still gotta get past the nutrient-loss-and-fatigue-punch of the day after. No getting around that.

He was one of the super-powered boyfriends in Scott Pilgrim, I believe. The vegetarian one.

Wouldst rather see a theatrical version first. More flexibility to try something new with the character. If this had been greenlit four or five years ago, it might've been a good show for television, but now? I don't know. And how much of the canon will they keep in?

Can someone repost the HTML code for linking photos? I had it noted down from an old post in my iPod Touch, which got lifted from my jacket last night while I was boozing.

That fucking blows. I know people lose their phones and pods and crap on the regular and that nothing is forever, but to go to one of your usual hangouts and have someone steal your shit when all you wanna do is just enjoy being alive for a few hours...grrrrrrrrr...I should've kept it close to pocket. Lesson learned.
