/Film : Comparing the BBFC and the MPAA, and How Antichrist Illustrates The Differences

BRAVO! This was an amazing comparison between the BBFC and the MPAA, i loved it, my country's rating system is closer to the BBFC and I am glad of it, though, I don't think that Antichrist will reach here and if it does, I don't think I want to watch it because it's not my kind of movie, but still great article Brendon, I liked it.

Are you really suggesting Good old Rowan Atkinsons (Mr. Bean) to play Bilbo? How does that fit? And yeah, Hugo Weaving was a no-brainer for Elrond...and it's awesome news that Doug Jones is going to be Frankestein. Such a great physical actor.

/Film : New Last Airbender Casting Stays On Right Side Of Racebending Debate?

I think people complain far too much, wait until the trailer to see if the casting was right or wrong...If the story doesn't suffer by the casting decisions then stop whinning!

/Film : Essay: Is Kevin, the Tropical Bird in Pixar's UP, a Nod to the LGBT Movement?

I think that as Stanton thinks that people saw too much on Wall-e. People are over-analyzing UP with this kind of theories, the gender confusion of Kevin was used for a gag of Russell finding out his gender afterwards, not much else to think of.

/Film : Pixar's Up - What Did You Think?

Just came back from watching the movie with my gf at the very last show today (the movie had a pre-opening today, it really comes out to Theaters on Friday in here)...and I must admit that even though I didn't cry or get my eyes watery at all during the movie, it left me reflecting about my life all the way to my house, and I think it will leave me like this for the rest of the week, very few films accomplish that for me and I thank Pixar for this. About Partly Cloudy, I congratulate Peter Sohn and can't wait for Pixar or any other Animation Studio to give him a Feature Film, the short was nothing short of amazing, both aesthetically but also on the originality of it, I had my jaw on the floor since the very first moment the clouds began to move, it was simply astonishing to see the fluidity and "naturality" of the clouds, it made me laugh, it made me cry...all in 5 minutes time. I enjoyed UP very much, and as pretty much everything about the movie's touching moments have been said I only want to add that the villain is one of the most dangerous I have seen in recent movies, his immediate change of attitude towards the main characters and his disdain for anything else but his search for the bird including the life of others was very scary and real, kudos to Pixar for making such an interesting character. And this is the second Pixar movie to add blood, not much, but enough to shock me to see it in a Disney movie. I must congratulate the voice casting they did for Latin America and I think it has nothing to envy with the American dub I have seen in all the trailers and previews of the movie, really good work!

Ooberland sounds kind of interesting...but I still think that making 3 movies a year r may be more profitable for Dreamworks, but it reduces the time for them to make work with more quality...I hope it goes well for them, they sure go it right with Kung Fu Panda.

/Film : Toy Story 3 Teaser Trailer Description

We all knew that there was going to be a teaser with no actual footage of the film, but still, very sweet for Pixar to give us a little taste of what's about to come. Thinking out loud, this movie should be big because, I don't think they have tweaked the chracters so much, so there are either massive environments, animation of huge masses of people/toys or a mix of both.
