They kind of did this with the dream episode with Luna where her nightmare tried to take over Equestria. But what if they put some focus on the fact that Friendship is something that expands and grows, and not just stands still. The Mane six, even with their transformed power ( that I forget the name of off hand ) cannot handle a villain in next season while some of their closest support/background characters watch. It gets the notion that "hey, why are we just watching our friends risking themselves while we sit here? Aren't we also their friends as well and shouldn't we do something?". They should then go through the list of characters and pick ones that seem like they'd be the closest to each character: Some potential: Rarity: - Coco pummel - Sassy Saddles Applejack: - Bigmac/Apple Family - Rara Rainbow Dash: - Gilda - Wonderbolts Pinkie Pie: - Cheese Sandwich - Maud Pie ( Pie Family honestly ) Fluttershy: - Discord - Angel Bunny Twilight Sparkle: - Sunset Shimmers ( although they'll probably never use her outside of the EGirls movies =/ ) - Trixie - Celestia/Luna - Shinning Armor/Cadence Fan Favorites - Derpy/Muffins - Lyra/Bonbon - Zecora - Octavia/DJ Pon3 eh... Don't mind me, just tossing out idea's for no reason like normal =P

I enjoyed the episode quite a bit. But I will have to say it did have some weaknesses in it. The biggest one being the motivation behind her reasoning. It felt really weak honestly, like something was missing. Maybe there's more to it that got cut off due to time restraints, but it felt like when her friend got his cutiemark she got it through her head that he no longer wanted anything to do with her any more, even without confronting him and actually seeing if they still wanted to be friends. She jumped to the conclusion that since he's moving on to Canterlot he "didn't want anything to do with her", without even asking him or approaching him. I kind of wished they had given his side of the story, I'm presuming something will come up next season to approach this. The rest are sort of nit picks though, like I wish they had more to Sombra's time line to give him more character devolupement as he is IMO the weakest villain in the show story wise. Flim Flam having a story also felt weird too IMO, how could they be worse then the main villains lol? Other then that though I really liked the episode over all, and I'm hoping we'll get more out of Starlight next season. OH, and while I can see where people think she may be a new main character in the show case. There still is no real hard evidence to it being a thing just yet. So cool your jets please. If anything, the staff has been really good about keeping the show entertaining, I mean a large portion of us have stuck around for 5 seasons! Put a little faith into the show staff would ya! Even if she does indeed become a more potential character in the future, who's to say she won't have incredible episodes and storys of her own to show for the future?

It seemed a little predictable, but they didn't go the route I was kind of expecting at least. They established early on that the farmers were horrible at building, and the builders were horrible at farming. I was afraid that was going to be the answer to todays episode. I did suspect off hand that the animals Fluttershy kept saving would have a more important role in the matter. But I was expecting the farming and building aspects to be the main focus on fixing the firendship problem. They also acknowledged something too. They mentioned when they were shocked that Twilight was an Alicorn that they thought there to be only 3 actual Alicorns in Equestria ( at least ). This may be seen as a potential subtle hint that there are officially only 4 Alicons in Equestria. Although this doesn't mean there cannot be more outside of Equestria or not known at least. I still would like to think Chrysalis to an extent can be seen as an Alicorn like creature in her own right. Anywho, the episode was fun. Outside of the fact that the episode focused on fighting isn't an answer and it has an impact on their surroundings. I'm also hoping there was a more subtle lesson for Twilight in that episode about the answers to problems not always been found in books as well, even if not the main focus of the episode.
