"Set hosts to Cydia on Exit" will alter your hosts file, so that your hosts file points to Cydia server instead of Apple Server -> therefore all iTunes requests for restore will be sent to Cydia. If you need a clean restore with an original Apple iOS firmware, then uncheck this box and all requests will be directed once again to Apple server.

@ Azeem Anwar didn't you read the above blog post?! There are issues with Cydia at the moment: "OK so it looks like Cydia is giving up the ghost and having some major issues." So save your SHSH locally on your computer for now - then just be patient and wait until the Cydia issue has been solved. @ haruna: yes it's correct, restart TU after you have applied the changes - then it will work ;)

@Cromwell don't tell bullshit! Apple IS STILL signing the iOS 4.3.2 - it's the current and latest iOS firmware! Just read the above blog post more exactly - there is a major issue with Cydia! Then the above post also clearly states: uncheck the checkbox under the tab advanced - you did not do that, otherwise there would be another message in the log - Your log still says: CYDIA does not have --> therefore your requests are still sent to CYDIA instead directly to the Apple server You have to REQUEST the SHSH directly from Apple server - so uncheck the checkbox and save your SHSH's locally - then be patient and wait until the Cydia issue has been fixed! to check if the timeframe for SHSH saving is already closed, check out the iPhone wiki: http://theiphonewiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=SHS...

pls read above blog post exactly - as there is clearly written: To save your SHSH via APPLE instead of CYDIA (the default) go into Advanced options and UNCHECK the box that clearly says: "Request SHSH From Cydia" then click 'Apply Changes' then select your device then click 'Save SHSH'

Did you already save your iOS 4.3.1 SHSH blob locally on your computer? If so, then you're fine: your locally saved SHSH blob has been downloaded directly from Apple server, which signed it and therefore it is valid. Once the problem with Cydia and SHSH saving has been solved, you should be able to send your locally saved SHSH blobs again to Cydia with TinyUmbrella as usual - and you're still fine even if Apple has stopped signing for that iOS version in the meantime. If you did not yet save your iOS 4.3.1 SHSH blob locally on your computer: download TU 4.30.05 -> go to tab Advanced and uncheck/disable the checkbox: Request SHSH from Cydia -> restart TU and click the button Save SHSH. In addition there is another tool in Cydia called: iSHSHit (BigBoss repository) > this little tool works directly on your iDevice and will save your SHSH blobs too - afterwards sent the files by mail to your e-mail adress and put them into to your .shsh folder under your user folder: afaik those SHSH files should be converted by TU and you're also fine ;)

Hi JPWest, saurik's server doesn't seem to be down but it looks like there is a major issue with Cydia which does not yet accept your nor TU's request to save your iOS 4.3.2 SHSH blob. Just couriosity: can't you just start the TSS Server in TU and Shift(Option)+Update? To be honest: I've never tried that ;D

Hello Gennoken, I'm not really sure if TinyUmbrella will work with JRE x64 - but notcom can tell you for sure ;) According the error message it looks like TU has a dependency to JRE 32-bit or there is no system environment variable JAVA_HOME defined. What you could try is to set a system environment variable JAVA_HOME and point it to your JRE x64 installation folder. If that doesn't work, remove the system environment variable JAVA:HOME again and just install JRE 32-bit to another folder ;) http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Uncheck the checkbox: Request SHSH from Cydia , then click the button Apply Changes and restart TinyUmbrella. After restart of TinyUmbrella, click on the button Save SHSH and your SHSH for iOS 4.3.2 will be saved locally on your computer. If TU still shows the message in the log: Cydia does not have... -> then TU is still requesting the SHSH's from Cydia instead from the Apple server.

@ iBr0keMyi and @ Nathan: like @notcom already mentioned above in his blog post: there seems to be an issue with Cydia not yet saving the SHSH's for iOS 4.3.2 - therefore there is nothing to download for TinyUmbrella from the Cydia server yet. As long as you do have the SHSH blobs saved locally on your computer you're on the safe side. I assume there will be a fix for this issue - it's just a matter of time, just be patient and do not worry (as long as you do have saved your SHSH blobs locally) ;) If everything has been fixed/solved, your locally saved SHSH's will be submitted to Cydia and you're good to go. In addition there is another Tool in Cydia called: iSHSHit > this little tool works directly on your iDevice and will save your SHSH blobs also ;) @notcom: please correct me if I'm wrong - just trying to help a little ;) With best regards FatalSysError

If you requested the SHSH file for iOS 4.3.2 directly from the Apple server (unchecked the checkbox: Request SHSH from Cydia) everything is fine! There seems to be an issue with Cydia, as it seems that Cydia does not yet save the SHSH files from iOS 4.3.2 --> therefore if you try to request it from Cydia, it will fail.

it's ok and I'm happy it worked as explained ;D The explanation is easy: Cydia does not have yet your SHSH blobs for iOS 4.3.2 -> so if you request it from Cydia -> there is nothing to save -> request it directly from Apple Server and you're fine -> afterwards just do the opposite: check that the checkbox: Request SHSH from Cydia is marked and click again Save SHSH -> your locally saved SHSH's will be submitted to Cydia and you're on the safe side ;D

why edit the hosts file when there is a checkbox in TinyUmbrella?! --> just uncheck the checkbox under the tab Advanced: Request SHSH from Cydia --> it's easier for not so technical experienced people ;)

read my comment above/below (depends on your view settings of the comment system) and it works as expected ;) Solution: in TinyUmbrella go to the tab Advanced and uncheck the checkbox: Request SHSH from Cydia, then click Apply Changes and re-start TinyUmbrella. Now click again the button Save SHSH and your iOS 4.3.2 SHSH Blobs will be requested directly from the Apple Server and saved locally.

For everyone who cannot save iOS 4.3.2 SHSH blobs and get the error message: Cydia does not have your SHSH for <Model> <iOS Version>... Please make sure to check your tab Advanced (in TinyUmbrella) and uncheck the checkbox: Request SHSH from Cydia -> click on the button Apply Changes, then close TinyUmbrella. Now re-start TinyUmbrella and click again on the button Save SHSH --> there you go: SHSH for iOS 4.3.2 saved! Now repeat the step from above: change to the tab Advanced, this time check that the checkbox: Request SHSH from Cydia is marked. Click on Apply Changes and close TinyUmbrella. Re-start once again TinyUmbrella and click again the button: Save SHSH --> this time your locally saved iOS 4.3.2 SHSH blobs (previously requested from Apple Server) will be uploaded to Cydia and you're fine! @notcom: little bug when applying changes like the one described above with the checkbox from where to request SHSH's -> if you do not restart TU after applying the changes, TU won't request the SHSH -> the progress indicator just keeps spinning but nothing happens.
