I agree, Agnes - color has NOTHING to do with what's going on in our White House right now. He's a Marxist Muslim and all of his associations and his "religeous training" is what people of every color should have looked at before they went to the polls and voted him into office. Color has nothing to do with it - his background and credentials should have disqualified him right from the start.

I had the same reaction you did, Pastor. I could feel the evil and deception - my husband did, too. We were also completely amazed by the response of some of our Christian friends, who voted for him! They were blinded, too - I guess the elect are already being deceived, and the only sign and wonder he has performed is come out of no where, with no experience, and obtain the highest position in our land. I totally agree, Michael. In fact, in my estimation, Obama is kind of a "suicide bomber" sent from hell. He doesn't care if he gets a second term. He wants to blow up as much of America's foundation as he can before he's run out of D.C. on a rail. "Christians" are not one group or type of people - they're not all immature, nor are they all "military" lovers. Which label of Christian do YOU fit under? The kind who slam other Christians? Divisiveness isn't helping anyone. Jesus, Himself, said, "The poor will be with us always." Working Christians are paying out taxes that the government uses for their misguided programs that keep people in bondage. If they stopped social welfare to people who clearly can work, it would leave a lot more in the paychecks of compassionate people to give them room to give to more people in need. A lot of us are barely keeping up with our bills - and most of us have cut our budget to the bones. My husband and I have adopted three children from the foster system. We know MANY, MANY Christians who have done the same and are providing for them. I think you should stop criticizing Christians - especially if you are one.

Thank you for sharing your perspective on Christian and home schooling. I am a prime example of what you explained to be a lack of understanding of the differences between public and Christian education. I went to public school. I gave my life to the Lord as an adult with no children. Now in my late 40's and the new adoptive mother of three young children, you've provided another confirmation that I need to re-think my position on a public school education for my little ones. I'm sure things have devolved MUCH since our school days! Thank you again for your example and words of encouragement to those of us deciding which way to go.

I think adults are well able to decide whether to "hate" from what they've read, don't you? I don't hate Democrats or Republicans, I do hate anything that hurts people and turns them from God. Obviously, there are some things the party of MY choice has done and is doing that hurts people and turns them from dependence on God as their source. I don't think it hurts anyone to be shown truth - even if it hurts.

Obama's doing exactly what my kids do - point a finger so I stop looking at what they're doing and deal with the trouble their little pointing finger creates. So ultimately counterproductive. Like my little finger-pointing child, he's going to find himself on the outs with his boss, (in Obama's case = "We the people".) Everything he's done and not done is going to bite him, one day. He may be, as many think, a crafty and cunning politician, forcing his agenda any way he can, disregarding every dissenting voice and sucking up to whoever will further his goals. OR he may be just an extremely arrogant man who got in WAY over his head. One day, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess Jesus Christ is LORD, and the government shall be on His shoulders. There is a big day coming for Barack Hussein Obama, and from every angle and point of view available on earth, he is NOT ready to meet the Lord. Bush is responsible for BUSH. Obama is responsible for Obama. I'm afraid he's completely unaware of that ultimate fact.

It seems to me that we're too afraid to pick the "wrong one", instead of committing to one we love very much and making OURSELVES the "right one". It's all about happiness, now. That's not biblical at all. We are a picture of Christ with His bride, the church. Christ laid His life down (I do feel you on this, RLMan) - and the bride submits to the Lord. It takes a lifetime of commitment and love to work through our carnal natures and let the Spirit of God develop us. I, personally, don't believe that there is just ONE right one for us. I experienced God putting just a few good men in my life, and I was more drawn to one of them, whose personality seemed to fit mine, whose mission in life matched mine and who had "like, precious faith". We made a decision to commit, got married and are loving, working hard, and doing what love does (Read 1Cor 13). If you WANT marriage, you've got to conquer the fear of commitment.

Why in the world isn't EVERY offer to help being gratefully accepted? It seems that the Commander in Chief (especially one who is completely unconcerned about: breaking the law, professional ethics and what most people think) would take CHARGE and do what it takes to launch a full-scale cleanup effort. I'm hearing NOTHING about what they're doing to clean up in the news. Why? There's something so calculatedly evil about how this isn't being handled...there's got to be a way around the obstacles The White House keeps throwing up.
