Are you suggesting that Obama is seeking to start a world war to try to have the U.S. take over the rest of the world, like Mussolini did? (e.g., you state "as the world teeters toward war") That is a surprising charge, because usually on this site the writers are complaining about how Obama is too timid with foreign leaders, and try to compare him unfavorably to the more belligerent Bush.

I read through this post and its links, and I see no real connection between OFA and ACORN, other than they both use similar software. It is like saying Breitbart and Osama Bin Laden both use microsoft, and therefore are connected.

I wonder if there are other explanations for increased costs. Did they always do the fingerprinting and FBI background checks of census workers they do now? Did they always have to chase people who are hiding from census takers because they have irrational fears of responding to the census? These actions are necessary because a lot of the right wing scare stories out there about the census, but they cost a lot of money to appease these concerns.

If you went to a private company for training, and they paid you for a full day when the training ended a bit early, would this be a big deal? No, it happens all the time. Now, why don't you run along and go undercover at Halliburton and show us how careful they are with their timesheets. There's a lot more government money there.
