Folks, I'm a bit new to posting on this site, so please steer me in the correct direction if I did this incorrectly.

Inspired by Jody51 (I have to give credit where credit is due), I posted in the "Stand Up & Lead" section of the board and included contact information for Fox News and advertisers so we can support Glenn. Was that the best place to post such information?

There are others, and I'll try to get their email addresses up here later, but I've spent so much time on getting these just this morning, I better get some work done. I'm self-employed, so I'll be up all night if I don't get back to work now. ;-)

We should remember that as the Progressives make noise to draw attention to their ludicrous movement, we need to make more noise to drown out the sound of their madness. For too long we have been busy working hard, raising our families, and trying to make this country great while the opportunists of the Progressive movement manipulated armies of people who were happy to sign on as "useful idiots" to undermine the values that built this great nation, but no more!

Jody51 very kindly alerted us to the Progressives who are trying to scare off Fox News and Glenn's advertisers. We need to show support for Glenn.

Below are email addresses for contacts at Fox and some of Glenn's advertisers. I must advise that corporate types readily get nervous about controversy, so it is important that we all be professional, polite, and encouraging as we show our support for Glenn.

Additionally, marketers' actions are driven by sales above all other factors, so we should make a point of buying from Glenn's advertisers over their competitors to encourage repeat advertising. If they clearly see that advertising with Glenn Beck improves their sales, particularly in a tough economy, they'll keep placing ads on Glenn's programs.

I just came across this video of Naomi Klein on Bill Maher's show shortly before the election. (Get out your duct tape, folks!)

Seeing this video clip after all that's happened since the new administration took office makes it just that much more ridiculous.

Jody51, thanks so much for letting us know. I will be straight on the phone and email to Fox and Glenn's sponsors in support of him. If Fox News drops Glenn, I will be FINISHED with them!

I honestly feel that we really NEED Glenn Beck because he is our lifeline to the truth....

I would hope I'm wrong on this, but the parallels seem to be there.

1) From Apollo's website: "Why Do We Call It The Apollo Alliance?...Like JFK’s Apollo Project, which put a man on the moon in under a decade, an Apollo project for energy freedom must be big, bold and fast."

2) From the AmeriCorps Pledge: "I will bring Americans together to strengthen our communities." (as in "community organizing"?)
