9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Cupertino releases detailed drawings of "Mothership" AppleHQ building

I think you mis-quoted the Mayor of Cupertino. From your own article http://9to5mac.com/2011/06/09/cupertino-mayor-no-... the Mayor is fully supporting the project. Why else would it be featured on the Cupertino city web site? http://www.cupertino.org/apple

The images were all taken hand held. The lens is very sharp. One of my favorite lenses, it’s the “body cap” to my D700.

On my Nikon you had to leave it on f/22 for it to work. Not sure about the canon version.
A Micro 4/3 Leica with an m4/3-R adapter is definitely a possibility here.

True, it does not make sense, but then why would Metz have included Leica m4/3 is the specs for their flash. This was directly translated from the German press release.

While Leica did indeed have a camera called the Digilux 3 and it used a 4/3 sensor, it was based on the the full Four-Thirds spec and not the Micro Four Thirds spec. The rumors flying about right now concern a Micro Four-Thirds Leica similar to the Olympus Pen Digital.

That is absolutely correct. I am not denying the usefulness of \"Clean My Mac\". The application has done a fine job of keeping my Mac Pro in top working condition OS-wise. It's just a warning to all Adobe CS5 users about this quirk with the language files that is not apparent when you go to update and start pulling your hair out when it fails for no adequately explained reason.

FWIW, this is an update to an exiting camera configuration offered by Mamiya/Leaf. Now the camera body offered is the M645DF instead of the M645AFD-III. No lens is included in the offer.

Unknown at this time. Having it use the R-system would breathe new life into the R-lens series (which is excellent like all Leica glass) and jive with an earlier comment made by Leica High Command.

Hi Steve, for an example of wide open bokeh, check out the fish picture above. As far as filters are concerned, this lens can take any 52mm filter. They are screwed in between the dome hood and the lens. The close-up filter screws into the front of the dome hood and shortens the minimum focusing distance. You can see samples above as well.

Another thought: The lenses could have a focussing ring with a lock. The camera can then autofocus without issues. Then when the user unlocks the focus ring, a signal can be sent to the camera body locking the AF systems and allowing the user to manually focus.

Further thought and discussion leads me to believe that the lenses for this system would have to be retrofocal in nature, which allows for greater distance from the rear lens element to the imaging plane. This, in turn, would free up more space for the internal AF system to be able to move about without requiring a thicker camera. Another thought is that since the distance from the imaging plane to the rear lens element is constantly changing, none of the lenses for this camera could be fixed minimum aperture. However, since the distance the AF sensor would move should be relatively small, the minimum aperture variation shouldn't be that much.
