My friend showed me the C&L story as some kind of proof that Republicans are heartless crooks. I'll be sure to forward this to him.

Thanks, Mr. Meed.

You know, I tried to give MediaMatters a chance. I really did. But I read one post and realized what they were all about---and it certainly wasn't the truth.

It was this post, about Chris Wallace and the 9/11 responders bill:
http://mediamatters.org/blog/201012200013

MediaMatters wants you to believe that Chris Wallace had a "flip flop", and wanted the bill passed at one point and then gave the bill put-downs at another. But if you actually watch the videos they posted, anyone can easily see for themselves that in the first video, Wallace gives his personal opinion that the bill should pass, and in the second video, Wallace talks about whether or not he thinks the bill is going to pass in Congress (which is when he goes into the "on-the-one-hand-this-on-the-other-hand-that approach" MediaMatters harps about).

If that wasn't enough for you, just read some of their headlines:

"The right-wing backlash against advancing minority rights"

Really?

These people really don't deserve anybody's trust.

The Communists really blew the budget on this one. The interface is terrible.

I don't know how you got these quotes in English, I couldn't find an "en ingles" button to save my life. Clicking the logo doesn't even take you to the homepage, it's very frustrating to have to erase a part of the URL to go home.

How much time did they waste on making this? I hope it was a lot.

Look at all of those Hispanics being made to carry SEIU garbage. Minorities like me exist for the Left only to be used as record players for their ideas.

"I define 'social justice' as 'the stubborn application of unworkable solutions to imaginary problems.'"

Now THAT is rich.

Yet another excellent no-holds-barred post by Mrs. Shaidle.

Alex Knepper has read this article.

And come on: it's not like Frum doesn't know about it. The spineless hack is avoiding it on purpose. What was his defense when NewsReal first exposed Knepper? That David Horowitz and Ron Paul are a far-right-wing alliance of evil.

Please. Frum isn't going to do a thing about this. And if you're still not convinced by his two new articles since this was posted AND was read by Alex Knepper, watch him go the whole rest of the year without batting an eye. Pathetic.

Bottom half of the sign:

"To divide
DICK CHENEY
He is a real dick!
BILL O'REILLY
Another red neck!
These are the children of the devil. They spout hate & racism."

Just another tolerant leftist.

It speaks volumes that an indefensible position like this is commonplace political discourse.

The trick is to force the person defend the indefensible: How long must whites have to suffer and to what degree until they've been treated equally as bad, afterward which we can treat everyone equally? The only answer they can give without dwindling in subjectivity is that whites deserve to be put into slavery; an unthinkable notion that even the most far-out leftist wouldn't embarrass themselves arguing. All other arguments can be dismissed as an arbitrary invention of the individual.

I actually have, but my current science course is Chemistry, which above all else is about the theories themselves and how to implement them into the real world. My history textbook has been the only textbook I have had so far in which I've noticed that the information isn't always the most intellectually honest thing one could read.
