<description>This same thing happened in LA a year ago (or a little more than that).  Dramatic increases in homeless counts. Camps where they had never been before. Families, not just individuals. I have no idea what demographic was the majority, but it seemed a varied cross section of society was represented for any number of reasons. I doubt many of them chose it, they simply couldn&amp;#039;t afford the luxury of a roof any longer. </description>
