You seem to understand the meaning there. It's not really negativity, but I can't say it's positive because I immediately think of optimistic and idealistic individuals, both of which I've been yelled at for not having enough. However, most of my friends seem to appreciate my 'fuck that, this is how the world is' attitude. My biggest beef with the holidays is this whole Christmas before Thanksgiving (and Halloween, in some instances) business. We haven't even had our goddamn turkey in peace before we have to hear the holiday jingles that basically make me want to run off a cliff because I'm already broke and know I can't stand to be more broke by buying people useless shit gifts. I could probably go on and on, but I'll stop myself here before I get too wound up.
