Thank you for posting about this. I work within the Reform movement but no longer belong as a member of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) specifically because of the pervasive left-wing politics it espouses via the RAC and its member synagogues. The RAC shouldn't even exist, at least as a wing of the URJ. Yet, it plays a significant and nearly obligatory role in the lives of Reform Jewish youth nationwide. Michael Medved was once heard saying, "The Reform Movement is the Democrat Party with holidays." That is so true. And because of it, right-leaning Jews like myself are starting to leave.
