Looks like they're off to a good start, but the framerate sure does look labored whenever more than one enemy appears on the screen.

Nah, with Fallout: New Vegas they just tried to make a game twice as big as Fallout 3 in half the time. End result wasn't that much glitchier than the original, but the corrupted saves were infuriating.

Nevermind, I was wrong, it was Bethesda that sued Interplay. Interplay was about to go bankrupt when they sold Bethesda the franchise in an agreement that was supposed to allow them to develop a Fallout MMO themselves. But then, when Interplay had already spent all their money on the MMO, Bethesda sued them to keep all Fallout trademarks out of the game. They argued that Interplay had acquired the right to make a game that was called "Fallout," but that they hadn't acquired the right to use any Fallout trademarks such as Nuka Cola or Super Mutants. Hilarious. http://bit.ly/1BCV7Ay

That was just because Lucas Arts pushed them to release KotOR II sooner than they had originally agreed to, because they wanted it on shelves before Christmas. Still, with third party bug fixes installed, it was superior to KotOR I.

Again? Sweet! Hope we get to hear more legal arguments about hair loss and people falling out of buildings like the last time they sued.

Because Bethesda bought the franchise after Interplay created Fallout and Fallout 2.

Obsidian, they write some deep stories, and they're great working with other people's IPs.

Fallout was created by Interplay, not Bethesda.
