That comment is enforced by the weakness revealed during every hurricane season. The coastal oil refineries near the Gulf of Mexico shut down when threatened by hurricanes and gas pump prices always shoot up. In fact, in a report I read, the Saudis said there was plenty of oil in the market a few years ago but refined petroleum was in demand. In fact, Iran imports their gasoline and was identified as an item to blockade that country because of the nuclear weapons issue. Obama needs to approve the building of more oil refineries.
