This article seems to have been written in April, not on September 28th. Does Mr Jenkin's not follow the research or the data? Hundreds of thousand dead is utter nonsense.

Estimated avoidable 2020 cancer deaths due to the covid response, 75k. Think on that.
That is not being risk averse.

Quite, but I think it is now too late. Unless Johnson does an immediate 180 on his covid "policy" he is finished and maybe also the Tory Party.

100% correct I would urge everyone to view Chris Martinsen's video on the UK, in particular where he explains how the false positives can have a massive effect on the total. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSsTCjbNPF0

We dont need to rely on dodgy models or false comparisons. We have hard data in the form of deaths and hospitalisations and they clearly show no need for any lockdowns.

I would say given the corrupt way the Government is using covid, it almost does not matter. It seems whoever you vote for, you get socialism and if you live in Scotland you get national socialism.

Quite, but they wont do anything about these.

It has been stark how there has been almost no opposition to the curbing of our civil liberties. No push back from Labour or the Liberals, no real dissent from the MSM. The MSM dont even seem to be interested in Vallance's blatant conflict of interests.

I'm no fan of Brady, but back him totally on this.

Go to London tomorrow and join the protest, demand an end to this nonsense.

Actually the Swedish virus guy on unlocked TV , says a comparison with UK or France is more relevant than its Scandinavian nieghbours because of the large immigrant population in the big Southern citiies.

You now hear people who in the Spring critised Sweden pointing to its high death rates because they didnt lockdown. Now these same people say "well actually Sweden did have a voluntary lockdown" to explain the current good numbers.

I see no point to testing except for health care workers or those being admitted to hospital. Everyone else should just get on with their lives with no mandatory state interference. Clearly the lockdown did not achieve anything worthwhile, so it makes no sense to repeat it. Even if we have a repeat of Spring (which is highly unlikely) the health system can cope.
