Where does fair end? I do care about the people around me. Creating a neighborhood by knowing and looking out for you neighbors is a good thing, But I want the decision of who to help! I don't like to buy expensive gifts for children who don't take care of their toys! I don't want to give money to a neighbor with two cartons of smokes and a 24 pack in the freezer. I might give them groceries...either way I want it as my choice. There are lots of things my family does not have. We've never chosen to sacrafice the kind of time it takes many others to collect it. I want a gun to protect what we've EARNED. I will share with whom I desire, not whomever would like to take. The only example I can think of is the parable of the man who paid the same wage to men who chose to work for that wage in the morning. Then the aftenoon, and then shortly before the work was done. If you agree to work for a wage it is your choice, its not UNFAIR, when someone gets a greater wage for less work. It is the agreement which counts. If you are worried about what others have compared to you, no matter how you try to even it out....you will still be comparing yourself to others. It will just never end.
