One of the happiest moments of my life was the day I knew No. 4 was finally toilet trained. After 7 long years, no more nappies! I'm still basking in the glow. Although he did wet the bed the other night as the babysitter forgot to make him go before bedtime (even though I wrote it down on a list but never mind we won't go there!). It is a frustrating time - so so hard to stay positive and not get angry when your scraping sh*t off undies twice a day. But it will happen. You have my word that by the age of 20 all of your children will be toilet trained and not pissing in their pants (unless they are incredibly drunk :) I bought a musical potty from Fisher & Price for my boys and it did the trick in 2 or 3 days. (it plays a song whenever they wee - has some kind of wee detecting sensor lol). If you have trouble with No. 2's I highly recommend this ebook 'Poo goes to Poo Town'. No. 4 took much longer than the others to work out the poo situation and I was beginning to despair but after reading him the book for about a week he had it all figured out. I can email you a copy if you want it.

I love that whole 'finding their voice' stage....even now that Christian is three and a half and stringing longer sentences together I still get a kick out of it. I'm just glad he's got over the stage where Penis was his favourite word (it lasted for MONTHS!).

uggghhhh PMS.....yep, I get the glooms too and then half way through my day realise whats going on. Its horrible and I hate it. Although its better than what it used to be, I used to have it the week before, the week during and the week after! which basically meant I was a moody, grumpy cow for three weeks out of four lol

It must be the week for it! I am facing my squalor bit by bit at the moment and attempting to beat it into submission. A couple of days ago I did the laundry....and today I tackled the kid's toy boxes. The house is looking slightly more streamlined since Terry left with some of the furniture but I wish he would hurry up and come back to pick up the rest of his crap lying around everywhere!

I hardly know any of the mums at our school.....I think its because their kids all went to kinder and prep together and we moved over from WA and I don't have that background with them. Its hard to integrate yourself into a group thats already a clique. Probably the only mum I chat to is the mum of Bailey's best friend for play dates and birthdays and stuff. Back in Perth I did make a good friend from when Bailey was in prep which was really nice. I still have the two little ones to start school so maybe it will happen then :)

There was a time when I thought the nappy changing would NEVER END. With 4 under 5 I can't even imagine how many bums I have cleaned in my time. Im pretty sure I could have changed a nappy blindfolded and hanging upside down from a tree with one arm behind my back hahaha. You probably don't want to hear it now but when they are 3 and toilet trained, the relief is unbelievable.....its such a life changing experience! I am still wiping Mr 3's bum but his poo is in the toilet and that's all I care about!
