/Film : Is Harvey Weinstein Asking Tarantino To Cut 40 Minutes From Inglourious Basterds?

I'm just hoping that the approach isn't that Harvey wants a certain (totally arbitrary) running time. Cutting 40 minutes to cut 40 minutes is stupid. Cut a,b, and c because they suck is a totally reasonable.

Library yo! As someone studying library science I feel obligated to spread the word. And Graphic Novel collections (along with AV) are the fastest growing collections in libraries right now. So check em out!

As much as I want to see Anton Yelchin get back to smaller films, I think he could be great for this. And if done well, a film of Y could turn out really really good.

Great idea guys. Totally negate the possibility of including the only two tolerable things in TS: Sam Worthington and Anton Yelchin. Just amplify the shittiness some more. Fantastic work.

/Film : The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien Debut: What Did You Think?

I agree he played it a little safe, but it was so great to have Conan back, I don't care. Although, I'm worried about Jay taking the 10:00 time slot, and I think it's a bit of a slap in the face to Conan. "So you're getting Jay's job, an awesome opportunity. Oh, but by the way, we're giving him a promotion." But anyway, very happy for Conan. AND I live in Chicago and am shocked that I had no idea about that Wrigley Field run-through. Ha! 'Twas awesome.

I haven't read The Road (but it's on my list!), but I have an idea of what it is like. And I must say, I had really been looking forward to the film, but this trailer REALLY turned me off.

/Film : Movie Trailer: Rob Marshall's Nine

Alright! Glad to see that Kate Hudson might have a chance at recapturing the potential she squandered away after Almost Famous with all those idiotic romantic comedies. And Rob Marshall back to doing what he does best. Plus, I would probably watch Daniel Day-Lewis watching paint dry, he's so friggin good. Looks great!

/Film : Terminator Salvation in 4 Minutes, McG Explains PG-13 Rating

I actually think Yelchin's delivery of that line sounds really natural and like it comes in a context where it's actually necessary. I agree, though, about Bale's voice. I hope it's a little more natural-sounding than TDK.
