Big Government : God Bless Our Military? Not At The Houston National Cemetery.

Civil disobedience is called for here. Imagine what would happen if someone stated in open court, &quot;I was arrested for saying an unapproved prayer.&quot; Ms. Ocasio would be fired before the day was out. In fact, I might go to Houston and try it myself to see what happens....

Big Government : INVESTIGATIVE REPORT: Planned Parenthood's Medicaid Misinformation In Indiana

Oh come on. Do you really think Ayn Rand would support Medicaid funding of... anything? If you&#039;re saying that abortion is none of the government&#039;s business, okay. But implying that Ayn Rand would fund abortions via Medicaid... come on.

I&#039;m pro-choice, and I think it&#039;s terribly wasteful that government funds anything like this. Getting pregnant and having abortions are both quite elective. Government shouldn&#039;t fund personal irresponsibility.

Whoever Owen Meany IV is, they must lose a lot of arguments. That response was so well-practiced as to seem almost reflexive.

Big Peace : 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' Repeal: Congress Ignores Combat Troops

What did the survey say overall about attitudes within the military on this issue? To rewind a bit: what did the uniformed services think about DADT when it was enacted, and how was combat readiness affected by it? Whatever the results were, commanding officers should be the ones who decide how best to maintain combat readiness. If they have that responsibility, they should have that authority. As a small businessman, I can attest that this is true in the civilian world as well. I run a contract medical writing firm, and in the opinion of this business owner, things like co-worker romances (be they straight, gay, quadrosexual, or whatever), gossip (even about non-employees), and alcohol use will compromise mission effectiveness. Therefore I do not allow any of these behaviors among my employees. If I do have any gay employees, none of them have called attention to themselves on account of it, but of course our place of business is a vastly different environment than that of a battlefield.

Big Hollywood : Hollywood Screenwriter Famous For Enjoying Drugs Angry at Palin for Enjoying the Hunt

One small quibble: it is the <i>prohibition</i> of drugs that fuels murder and mayhem. Otherwise, Sorkin&#039;s PDS is hilarious.

Big Peace : Code Pink Tells Gold Star Mom: Your Son Deserved to Die

I suggest that we have a fundraiser of our own here on Andrew Breitbart&#039;s websites: raise money to buy one-way plane tickets, from the US to the country of their choice, for these Code Pinkos and all their ilk. A little vacation in Damascus or Pyongyang would be a real eye-opener for these leftie losers. This is going to backfire on Jerry Brown bigtime.

Big Hollywood : From Book Publishers to the Media: The Left's Crusade to End Debate

Good point. It&#039;s hopeless to expect the left to clean up its act, which makes it even more important that we on the right clean up our own.

Big Government : Democrats Attack Small Business Owner for Speaking Out Against Obama’s Policies

In addition to repealing Obamacare, we need to be talking about how we&#039;re going to replace it - one suggestion, from a guy with a chronic health condition, is to expand HSAs. Also, in addition to tax cuts, we should talk about tax simplification, IMHO. I might suggest a &quot;system reset&quot; for the IRS, returning to the original 1913 income tax forms. They were five pages long including three pages of instructions, if memory serves.
