There's no mention of any soil or plant tests. There's a lot of talk about concerns and annecdotal stories about red flags like metallic taste in a lot of people's mouths after a test burn but that's about it. I notice there is a housing development right next to the site. Has there been any actual independent tests or are people just responding to what they think might happen. Surely there are wild animals living there now. Did they capture any to run tests? Are there glow in the dark field mice running around? It's hard to take these issues seriously when it seems as if the objections are based on opinions. Science is hardly the answer when there are '"studies" by vegans and animal rights groups that make the case we are all going to die because of methane gas emitted by beef cattle just so they can scare people into not eating beef. Years ago there was the alar chemical scare in apples that destroyed us apple business for a few years. Then there was a problem with another unfounded scare regarding cranberries. Turns there were no issues but "opinion and conjecture" and junk science ruined the livelihood of a lot of people for several years as Crowe swerve bulldozed. This seems similar....at least based on lack of info from the "reporter". If this is as bad as they say why is there a neighborhood adjacent to the property.
