KIDK - Idaho Falls/Pocatello, ID : More parents choosing charter schools for kids education | KIDK CBS 3 - News, Weather and Sports - I

I am a teacher at Tiebreaker Elementary. I was discouraged by this report because it made it sound as though White Pines was unique in the way it encourages parent involvement, sets high goals for its students and staff, has smaller class sizes, uses best teaching practices, and differentiated instruction. All of these things happen at my public schools. I would have preferred to hear of the difference between the charter school and the "regular" public education. Maybe you could follow up and show us those differences rather than provide advertisement for the charter schools.
