Excellent quote. And SO fitting considering the current political attitudes toward national defense.

Just releasing a blurb about what she might have to say could change some minds. ABC isn't exactly packed to the rafters with geniuses. This move was so obvious, it could be a plot for Murder, She Wrote.

Breitbart.tv : CNN Prime Time Anchor To Breitbart: 'You Are Notoriously Evil'

Piers Morgan just moves his lips and doesn't know what is coming out of his mouth next. His brain is on holiday with his genitals. "Notoriously evil"? Really? I suppose when you are diametrically opposed to the other person's views, you WOULD perceive them as evil. Morgan, however, leads with his liberal leanings and doesn't so much interview opponents as he does display them for his leftist friends to laugh at together.

Big Journalism : NBC News Contributor Eugene Robinson Mocks Rick Santorum Over Dead Child

If he WON, instead of 'received', a Pulitzer prize, this casts dirt all over the nominating committee. A person who can smilingly call someone who lost a baby 'weird' for wanting to say good bye to an innocent is just an unfeeling poltroon. I think Genie needs 'sensitivity training'. Maybe he should 'apologize' or even 'resign'. And his 'opinion' of who should be president is irrelevant when speaking of a Republican as he hates all of them.

Breitbart.tv : Russian News Anchor Gives The Middle Finger During A Report On Obama

I think she was actually signalling for the video to start. But, what's the big deal anyway. Remember Obama resting HIS middle finger on his cheek all the time? He used it like I did when I was a child. You think you're the only one in on the 'bird', but everybody that sees it picks up on it, too.

This is funny. Just a week ago when Herman Cain was in the lead in the polls, Bashir was saying virtually the same thing about Cain. Bashir just comes off as a screaming poof who can't see how silly he is. Maybe MSNBC pays him by the word.

Big Hollywood : Helping Haiti: Keeping the 'Special' In Spec-Ops -- Part One

I joined the US Air Force back in 1978 under what was called the "Guaranteed Job Program". It was a dupe by quota conscious recruiters to sign up as many kids as they could. When I found out that the job I was guaranteed was no longer available, I was offered a psych-eval test to see if I was fit to serve. The test took three of four hours and apparently, I tested as too much of a 'loner' for the USAF. To my surprise, I was given an "Honorable Discharge" instead of a 'General Discharge'. I keep the certificate as a reminder that I was once an airman for a brief time. People who claim more than they should or make up self aggrandizing military exploits should be called to task. I have never asked for any benefits for being a 'veteran' and find those who go all "Rambo" about their fantasy military lives pathetic. Al Gore only went to Viet Nam because his dad needed to be re-elected. John Kerry went to pad his resume' for a political career. Say what you will about these two, but they DID go. True, Gore had bodyguards and Kerry ditched as soon as he could but, you won't hear me denigrating anyone for doing what must have been, in any event, risky business.

Big Hollywood : 'Avatar' and Shuster’s Shame Culture

Shuster and the rest of his MSNBC crew CAN'T admit failure OR shame. That would make them human. At least, I know Olbermann isn't human. These MSNBC clowns have to fill an hour each and it's hard to do unless you have no intellect to back your knee jerk opinions. Shuster just needs an off switch for his smarm.

Breitbart.com : Cameron sees metaphor for Earth in \'Avatar\'

"It's a metaphor" is what those enlightened filmwads say to explain to those of us who don't know the difference between fiction and documentary.
Not to go all religious on you here, but wasn't "man" given dominion over the earth and all the beasts, etc. We do more good with the planet than we could ever possibly do harm. Stick that in your Canadian pipe and smoke it, Mr. Cameron.

Big Hollywood : REVIEW: Cameron's 'Avatar' Is a Big, Dull, America-Hating, PC Revenge Fantasy

The trailer gives it all away. Evil warriors attack peaceful species to get their minerals so that Rush Limbaugh and Dick Cheney can buy more polo ponies. No wonder Cameron has been out of the business for so long. If this is his swan song, I'll just put Terminator in the BluRay and remember when the guy could tell a story and not preach to me. Reverend Cameron, go jump in a pristine lake cleaned by the American DEQ and EPA.

Big Hollywood : Review: 'Star Trek' is Slick Fun - Nothing Wrong With That

As much of a stick in the mud as I am about canon, I have to say this movie was JarJar Abrams' Star Wars. So, next time he goes to audition to George Lucas to do a SW film, this is his show reel. No meaningful storyline, motivation free villain and loud, screaming exploding FX. The recipe for a Star Wars shmorgasbord. Not much to do with a show deemed "too cerebral" by network hacks in the early 60's.
