What I pay into my retirement is a pittance. A 10% increase would amount to about $6 every two weeks. They could double it and not hurt me financially. I will get a nice retirement AND the government matches the first 5% that I put into my Thrift Savings account. All in all, I think that I have a sweetheart deal. I think that all current federal employees should pay more into their retirement and that all new federal employees should have to pay a lot more into their retirement.
