We currently have an Administration that can't keep track of Air Force One and they will not have a procedure to track the use of TARP funds until next year. The Federal Government has been a total failure in their attempt to administer Medicare and Medicaid. One of the major reasons that healthcare is so expensive is that the Federal Government doesn't pay the full cost for healthcare provided under Medicare or Medicaid. They only pay $0.60-0.65 on the dollar. The remainder of the total costs are then transferred to the private sector and these costs are then covered by increased insurance premiums and increased fees for service. We do not need Nationalized Health Care. What is needed a review of the unnecessary regulations and the Trial Lawyers that have been the direct cause for our health care costs.
