Leader? Ha!! Tina is a horrible public speaker. She went to the podium recently to speak about 'Keep Erie Safe' and she got so nervous she started coughing and apologized for being so nervous. Just watch the tape. She is not a good communicator to large groups and was always a nervous wreck trying to speak during board meetings. She is a part-time school teacher who recently went bankrupt and she does not have the skills to work with primary employers. I sure pray the word gets out. Tina would be a HUGE step back for Erie.

Daily Camera.com: : Erie trustees censure two colleagues for role in mayoral ethics probe - Boulder Daily Camera

Andrew Moore has led team Janice Moore and Mark Gruber in a web of lies and deceit. They will go to no end to carry out their personal agendas with vindictiveness and they could care less if it drags the Town of Erie through the mud. First Andrew helps Janice and Mark with helping to write a criminal complaint against another board member. They then play dumb at a subsequent board meeting like they are surprised to hear of the news. They then vote to spend $50K of taxpayer money to try to smear another board member with their drummed up charges. Not only did they help write the complaint, they did not disclose their involvement to the rest of the board. They then forgot to recuse themselves from the vote. They are then censured for the unethical behavior and they again forgot to recuse themselves from that vote too. How do you vote on your own censure? How does that happen? Mark Gruber and Janice show ZERO contrition then in Janice's board report she starts into more claims against the mayor. Janice has done websites on the mayor with flat out lies. Janice has put false claims on her blog. Then she helps to write a complaint against the mayor and spends $50K of taxpayer money on a wild goose chase. Mark and Janice's behavior is out of control. Their lack of contrition for double crossing fellow board members by not disclosing their involvement is incredible.

Daily Camera.com: : Bitterly divided Erie trustees fail to fill empty seat - Boulder Daily Camera

Colin, you just won't stop attempting to spin people will you? ZERO Erie taxpayer dollars can legally be used for airport development. It has never happened and never will. The airport did loan the town general fund money however to help build the rec center. The money was paid back about 6 years later. In addition Colin, the air park has very little to do with the airport other than it is next door. Only 1% of airplane traffic is derived by a couple little $20,000 airplanes from the air park. 99% of all airplane traffic comes from the airport, not the air park and also from transient traffic with people flying in to do business in Erie and Boulder.

Colorado Hometown Weekly : Tired of Erie trustees\' antics - Colorado Hometown Weekly

Ronda, you make us proud. I know you hate to jump into the fray on messy, dirty issues like this but when you see Trustee's abusing their power while pretending to be above board, I know it becomes impossible to resist. I pray that either ethics charges or criminal charges will follow shortly or both. It is incredible what Gruber and Janice did. They put on this act of serving gravy and loving this town but they easily put personal hate and vindictiveness ahead of any care for the town.

Colorado Hometown Weekly : Special prosecutor: Erie Mayor Joe Wilson did not violate town\'s ethics code - Colorado Hometown We

It is great to see the mayor was cleared of all charges but troubling to see that the special investigator implicated Trustees Moore and Gruber in conspiring and secretly writing the complaints in the Moore's living room. This Moore, Gruber witch hunt cost the Erie taxpayers $40,000 all the while dragging the town's name through the mud. We citizens hate the petty politics of Moore(s) and Gruber. We think Gruber, Moore should pay the town back and then resign!

I never said Andrew is a party to the complaint but he is behind it and has worked with the special prosecutor too. Andrew often sends others into do the dirty work including his wife Janice but in this case his hands are dirty too. Many are onto him and it is amazing how low he will go and how relentless he is to drag his town through the mud.

This is not a Joe alias. I too think this should get raised to the state level or even the national level. When you have a former mayor(Andrew Moore) working with special prosecutor(s) in an attempt drag Erie through the mud, that is horrific. Talk about a Bozo, This is Andrew at his finest.

The Moore's are largely behind this whole issue. They are more than willing to drag the town thru the mud for personal gain. I honestly don't know how they live with themselves. They just cannot stand seeing all of Joe's successes so they have to partake in drumming up mud that is bogus while dragging our beautiful town's name through the mud. Never seems to amaze. The truth will prevail and the Moore's will be shown for what they are. Wow!

The leadership shown by our mayor and the rest of the BoT on this issue is outstanding! This is without a doubt one of the best showings of leadership our town has every had. The IGA was holding Erie back. Before, Erie has had to call big brother to ask if it is okay to do something in our own town. Erie knows what is best for Erie. We should all be very proud of our leaders right now. This is for sure, for sure awesome for Erie!

It is unfortunate that these agreements were ever entered into but it is awesome that we have leadership now that was able to exit these Boulder County IGA's. Thank you Erie board and thank you Mayor Wilson for your leadership and perseverance to fix this major problem so that Erie can now determine its own destiny. The Town of Erie now has a bright future to make their own decision and provides the opportunity to be competitive in offering commercial space in strategic corridors.
