The fact is that the people of his district, which covers northwestern Wisconsin, are stupid enough to look at a ballot and say "Hmm, I know that name..." and then vote for him. The same thing goes for the people of Minnesota's 8th District, neighbors to Obey's district. That's how we keep winding up with Obey's good buddy Oberstar going back to Congress term after term. It's time for Oberstar to be gone as well. He and Obey can go fishing or something.
