The information that Qwest is selling Verizon cell phones and is merging customers at their convenience has been everywhere. My Qwest cell phone still works and so does the rest of our phones on our family plan. I was given the choice of waiting last minute to switch over or switching to Verizon right away. I chose to wait. My sister didnt wait, she switched to Verizon and Qwest did the migration. They didnt do it behind her back and they needed her drivers licence number, date of birth and her ssn to do it. She picked out her phone and her plan.
