The government is going to tax them at 90 percent. The government gets the money back, and what are they going to do with the money. They aren't going to give it back to the tax payers. If the AIG guys keep the bonuses, the government is still going to close to half of the money anyway. Than when these guys spend the money. They might go on a trip, buy a car, or buy a new suit. They will pay taxes on everything they buy. just look at it as 165 million dollar stimulus package.
