Depressing isn't it.

Sadly, ConHome stopped even pretending to care for conservative values a long time back.

Welcome to May's 'conservative' party.

Please turn the lights off as you leave!

Just look at the language from this insidious author "push fathers" "good for women" - essentially take career prospects away from the men so women have better chances than them. Why mention gender pay otherwise? What ever happened to the myth that the equality drive was not a zero sum game designed to handicap male prospects?

The purpose of this article is clear. They want less men in the workplace and more women. Forcing fathers to scupper their own careers.

Interesting that they're ever so keen to get mothers back to promising careers and promotions but that same language of career aspiration is stripped away when talking about the father.

Actually wanting to force father's from their careers and prospects just so women will be able to take his place at work.

Equality? Or installing a matriarchy?

God help us if this is what our party is now.

Good to see us discussing this but as a 28 year old without a house please don't call it 'social justice.'

It's a patronising term used far too often and very vague.

It's sad you think that someone being born white and male automatically makes them racist and sexist. You make several sweeping generalisations and usually in a very nasty tone towards others.

"What is the point of having the testosterone if you don't feel like that in the morning?"

The state of society beats you down soon enough into despair.

Men aren't superheroes that should be assumed are fine and need no help. We have our own hopes and fears too.

Indeed. Time to assess what options we have to let the myopic party know that they can no longer take us for granted.

I'm sure if I raise my thoughts and concerns they'll bother to at least listen and engage with me......LOL

Your list of things there that affect men in a big way is a good one. And have you ever seen a Tory minister speak up about this and actually try to address them...?

I don't believe so.

I find it very telling that the government couldn't bring themselves to even acknowledge the most recent International Men's Day and it's chosen topic: young male suicide. The biggest killer of men under 40.

That Theresa May actively chose not to even acknowledge the day and issues with so much as a damn tweet tells me a lot about how much this party and government truly care for guys like me.
