On this we agree: The cop shouldn't have been fired. He should have been arrested. There's nothing brave or macho about being a bootlicking sycophant. But then again there's nothing brave or macho about flinging a little girl around like a rag doll and forcing your knee into the back of her neck either. But hey. Seeing a man exert that kind of power gives you a chubby. I get it. That's cool. The problem is indeed a cop who - as illustrated through his actions - believes he is above the law which he has taken an oath to uphold. And the problem is you, who would give cover to a bad cop. Completely related to this story. It's not the job of a cop to determine who is a "bad guy." When cops presume to make that judgement, that's when they go wrong. Cops observe illegal behavior (or act on the intelligent witness of one who has) and they bring them in for a trial using the minimum amount of force necessary to do so. A judge (elected or appointed by an elected official) decides who is or is not a "bad guy."

What would have happened if you would have just signed the confession they handed you? Soldiers are fighting and dying at this very moment for the constitutional rights and liberties of that little girl. Cops are necessary. They are not noble. They are not nobility. They are not the King's men. There is no IQ test for cops and few of them have any secondary education when they apply at the academy. I'm glad there are those who want the job, because I sure don't. But that doesn't give them license to break the laws they are sworn to protect. Commercial fisherman and farmers and lumberjacks die at an exponentially higher rate than cops, but we don't let them crap on the liberty of others because they have a dangerous job. I am the child of a cop. I grew up with cops around my kitchen table all the time. There's nothing inherently noble about cops. There is something inherently disgusting about men like you who provide cover and excuses for illegal behavior from those most trusted. Using the words of Col,. Jessup the way you have makes it clear you missed the point of the movie. But then again, if you had been a character in the movie, you would have swung your soap-filled sock over and over until somebody pulled you off or you saw Pvt. Santiago's brains leaking out through the sheets. You think the world needs your kind of resolve. And who better an arbiter of justice than you, Eddie?

This is not even Jay Pharoah's best Obama impersonation. He was a little off compared to the YouTubes that I've seen. Jay is a lot like Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock in their first year on the show. He's a great impressionist, but a terrible actor. Jay has trouble staying in character and not laughing at himself. HUGE talent. I look forward to seeing what Jay can do as he grows his acting chops.

Oh the first episode was just GOSPEL true to Kirkman. Expanded and filled in gaps, but the skeleton of the plot was identical, right up until the tank at the end. When I saw all those new (to Kirkman's story) characters in Epi 2, I thought "Oh man..." 1. All the out-of-continuity characters better become zombie chow quickly for effect or... 2. This is going WAY off the rails-of-continuity, and that's not a good thing. They are screwing with a time-tested and much revered story. Was there a single minute of Episode 4 that was in continuity? Sigh.

You make some good points, and hundreds before me have articulated where your opinion might have a skewed focus. So I'll make two brief points: 1. As a critic you should criticize the art as it is, not the art you wished it would be or the art YOU would have made. 2. The whole point of the Walking Dead is that IT'S NOT ABOUT THE ZOMBIES. That's the fresh *cough* angle. The story is focused on the characters surviving a sinking ship of civilization. The zombies are merely the toothsome sharks circling below.
