I guess a lot depends on the cost structure. As the speaker last week mentioned, Youtube costs Google more per month than they bring in yearly.

I just assume that the voice quality will be top of the line, but that would be a big factor of demand.

International calling is already pretty cheap. I can call 30 countries with unlimited minutes for £5/month on landline and pay £0.01/minute to call U.S. from my mobile.

Great site idea. Does it let you rate articles and find articles that have been rated highly? I always worry about signing up for sites like this though due to spam. I guess setting up an email account for user ids is the best way to get around this.

I'm glad that I can now get Vitamin Water in the UK. I doubt that would be possible if they were still independent. I know that Coca-Cola kept the CEO on board with that acquisition and would be smart to do the same here. Hopefully he can help Coke out with further greening technologies and practices.

I'm testing out the timing this week, I usually post on Monday/Tuesday after class with minimal feedback. For posting links, I like when the blogger gives a preview from the article and then I can choose to go further. When I click on a blog and just get a headline that I have to click on again is very unappealing.

i also think google is missing the boat with youtube advertising. there's a different mindset between watching videos for leisure and wanting to buy an item in the title of the video.

In addition to increasing the ease for SMEs, Amazon increases customer satisfaction by making it easier/faster for the SME to deliver to the client, who always wants the product ASAP.
