Yeah, LA was my home for about 15 years, so I still consider the Dodgers, Lakers and Kings to be my home teams, for every sport except football. Kobe had an outstanding career w/ the Lakers; truly one of the greatest ever. But it's just time for him to go, and let the next generation step up and take the reigns.

Nothing truly great; the Girlfriend is still in Europe until Sunday, and my work computer just took a huge dump yesterday, and had to be replaced. But things are looking up! How about you?

Hey AG! Yeah, i came across the Shawn Colvin today when I was repopulating my new work computer with my MP3 collection. I hadn't attemped it in a while, and it felt like a good night to re-learn it. Hope your Ohio teams do well; my Lakers still stink, but I'm hopeful that if we get some good players in the draft that we'll be back up soon. Good work list; haven't listened to Television or Richard Thompson in a while - I'll put some on later.

Hiya Heros! Yeah, poor Amy. Talk about someone who telegraphed their early exit from the planet. She shoulda just gone to rehab after all.

...And I'm back, with food. The best thing about living downtown is that there's always somewhere to eat nearby.

Howdy Appleglenn! Nice; I'm glad TGAP Trixie is still alive and kicking. She's gotta have stats galore by now. Yeah, I have the same emotional weaknesses occasionally (mostly during the winter, when I'm not getting enough sunlight). I have to be careful at the office in case I click on an EQD link that might make me tear up... I was strumming through some random stuff while flipping channels, and came across Rocky Horror Picture Show. Spent the last hour playing along with the movie; takes me back to the '80s when I was a cast member at our local theater.

Hey CPA! Sorry about the crappy day. Hope you can sort through it fairly quickly and be rid of the client soon. My day was a throw-away, work-wise, since my computer's hard drive refused to boot this morning, and I had to wait all day for IT to requisition and build me a new one. Tomorrow will be all about me reconfiguring the new machine, so the morning at least will be a total loss... Lament is a great album. And Bad Lip Reading is almost always weird and funny.
