KOMO - Seattle, WA : Machinists chief: strike fund good for 6 months | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | Local

Well, lets see what this all promises to bring about as a consequence? Machinists throwing a temper tantrum because they think they should be immune to the economic storm going on 'EVERYWHERE' for everyone that works for a living and Boeing just praying for an acceptable excuse to outsource everthing here to somewhere else that's less expensive. Gee sounds like a Win / Win situation to me. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KOMO - Seattle, WA : No talks scheduled as machinists strike continues | KOMO News- Seattle, Washington | News

Gee, I wish someone would offer me an 11% pay raise or a $5000 signing bonus. You see I'm non-union and get stuff taken away on a continual basis. My daughter's in college but Boeing doesn't give medical to students anymore, it got taken away. My last raise? Who knows, I sure don't remember. Join the union? I tried but IAM said that my job catagory had to join SPEEA so I tried that. Guess what? They said that my job class wasn't professional enough to be in their union so I just take what I am given and keep my toes on the line living paycheck to paycheck while the cost of living skyrockets. Here's hoping that you guys don't wake up one morning and find your jobs outsourced and all of you carpooling to the unemployment line. Never say never.
