Film School Rejects : Boiling Point: And the Killer is...

The thing I hate most about these types of movies is that they break the rules. It's funny because I just got done watching Righteous Kill (don't ask why), and /BIG SPOILER ALERT/ they show Robert Deniro killing all those people in flashback sequences, when he never actually killed anyone. Same thing with High Tension, except in reverse. I'm fine with twist endings (in moderation), but don't fucking lie to me, man. Be creative, for Christ's sake.

Film School Rejects : SNL\'s Jason Sudeikis Attempts Jump to Feature Films

This movie sounds terrible. Sudeikis is a funny guy, though, his radio station on Grand Theft Auto IV is hilarious.

Film School Rejects : Shouting Match: Denzel/Travolta - FACE/OFF!

I'd like to add "A Civil Action" to his list of good movies. Denzel's way better, for the sole fact that he made "Man on Fire", one of the most kickass movies ever made. Quick Note: Denzel needs to take a break from Tony Scott for a little while. Go hook up with Ridley again.

Film School Rejects : WTF: Yes, They Would Make the Movie Today

I don't think they would make this movie today. Not because it's terribly controversial, but because it doesn't have a bunch of explosions and the main character screaming "NO!!!!!!!!" in extreme closeup. Movies like this really don't get the big studio treatment anymore.

Film School Rejects : J.J. Abrams is Talking \'Mission Impossible 4\'

Ooh, tough call. Abram's M:I was awesome (not as good as the first but ten times better than that second piece of shit), but I recall Tom Cruise saying they wanted a different director for each one and I liked the idea. There's something about having the direction of each movie being dramatically different that I just think is awesome. Bryan Singer would be my dream director on this one... Imagine a combination of the first M:I, The Usual Suspects, and Valkerie. I think I just came.

If I remember right, that sex scene from Fight Club was all CG, so double-win.

Film School Rejects : Foreign Objects: Old Boy

This is one of the best movies ever made. I can't say I really enjoyed any of Chan-Wook's other films, but Old Boy is seriously revolutionary. If you haven't seen it, you don't know jack about movies.
