The Administration is doing it's level best to end 230 odd years of the Rule of Law. It scares the hell out of me. I live in PA, and my family all thinks I am a crazy loon, but I am convinced that we who see it are duty bound to call out what is going on. I am beginning to fear the only way to cure the cancer that is Progressivism is when everything burns down, we will have to rebuild it out of the ashes. There are just too many lazy, unprinicipled gits out there with their hands out demanding their 'Gov't Given Rights' to the hard earned rewards. I weep for the future.

The 5000 Year leap is available from http://www.nccs.net/ftyl.html in WMA format that will work on any windows computer and many newer car CD players.
There used to be a place to download it free, but I cannot find it now.

Today I got an interesting email from Townhall requesting action on a bill currently in the Senate that the House has already passed. I have posted the general text of the email below. Can anyone independently verify what they are doing with HR 146? Is this accurate? I have not been able to turn up anything much using Google and the web.

Senate Uses Sneak Attack On Guns
Now House Republicans are trying to add an amendment to the public lands "Ominous Spending" lands bill that would codify the right to carry concealed weapons in national parks, less than a week after a federal judge blocked a similar proposal.
But, Senate leaders have devised a strategy to use a bill that had already passed the House -- H.R. 146, a proposal to protect Revolutionary War battlefields -- and strip its contents, replacing it with the "Ominous Spending" lands bill.
Because the House already passed H.R. 146, the Rules Committee can approve a closed rule that would block a motion to recommit, eliminating the GOP's best procedural chance to stymie the bill. The chamber would only need a simple majority vote to concur with the Senate amendment.

They have hundreds of documents available online for free. I have used it constantly to double check quotes and confirm things that modern writers have said that the Founders or ancient writers have said.
