I'm really enjoying this so far -- but good grief, Rainbow Dash's stage is a toughie, particularly the part with the fan + insta-death spike balls everywhere. Most of the stages are pretty good about letting you see how the challenges work in a somewhat controlled environment before they pile on, but that part is so far from the checkpoint that it's hard to get any practice at it the few times I make it that far.

Oh well. *Retry*

This is pretty awesome news. They say the "moves, mechanics, and style of the game" will remain intact, and the characters will still be quadrupeds. Ponies or no, my excitement is renewed to see this game develop and release. I can't wait to see what new characters they come up with to fill in the roles.
