It's not for everyone, and I wouldn't force it on anyone who doesn't want to see it. It;s a funny thing, to me at least. I love dark humor but others find it offensive, especially when combined with certain subjects, in this case our beloved ponies. So don't worry about it, you didn't like it, but many others do and are still very die hard bronies, I know I am. I think this year lone I spent somewhere around 2K on pony merch, mostly the promo cards GRR, but I run a comic book store online and I can say it's a business expense. LOL
