I was one of the lucky homeschoolers who wasn't totally sheltered. Ursula is so much more hilarious to me, because I get the whole "homeschooled" thing better than most people. Being homeschooled can be great if your parents are open-minded and encourage free thought. Sadly, most parents who homeschool tend to be the opposite. Again, I was one of the lucky ones. They taught me to stick to my morals, and made me a better, kinder, more controlled person. They brought me comfort with their depth of character, and joy with their funny antics. They pulled me out of my despair, when I was on the brink of collapse. Yes, I know it sounds sappy. But it's true. There's more to my love for ponies than a simple love for a show. Essentially, ponies saved my life, because without them, I might have given into despair and done something that would have messed my life up even more than it already is. even now, they still give me hope and laughter. That is also the reason I love a certain pink pony so much. When you are filled with depression, a little bit of laughter can make all the difference.
